Ardeche, be known from the chestnuts, has also an typical architecture. This
is formed by rocks which are piled up. The village next to the camping is an
example: Chambon de Bavas.
In Les Ollières sur Eyrieux, about 5km from the camping,
you can buy the daily needs and you can find the tourist agency there.
Le Pont d'Arc, is a brigde which is formed by nature,
which lays in the south of the Ardeche. You also can find there a lot of stalactitic
caves.
At Thueyts, a ''devilish bridge'', it's a nice aera
for a short walking.
The montagnes de l'Ardeche with the highest top at 1551 m, Le
Gerbier-de-Jonc, are in the west of the department. The river ''La Loire''
has here it's offspring. In the neighbourhood you find the nice village called
Mézilhac. The waterfall
''Le Ray-Pic'' has an difference in hight from about 30 m.
The only way through the valley ''Le Doux'' from Tournon to Lamastre, is to
do by a touristic steamtrain.
So, a lot of things to see in the Ardeche.
